T-02 is formed from a single sheet of 5mm brushed stainless steel, folded through four bends into one continuous shape. The final fold runs along the floor as a low plate that doubles as a shelf for books and magazines, a small detail that comes from the designer’s love of reading.
Like the rest of the Triqis collection, T-02 came out of Kwaku Boateng’s exploration of new materials and processes. The brushed finish softens the steel, while small marks from making and handling are left as part of its character. No two pieces are quite the same.
With no joins or fixings, T-02 reads as a single, calm gesture. It’s a centrepiece for a living room, and works equally well in lounges, hotel suites and hospitality spaces.
